Mares

Follow-up cycle

Most mares typically experience their first estrus cycle between 15 to 18 months of age. This cycle continues throughout the breeding season, which generally spans from March to October, recurring every three weeks. At Hof Ter Leeuwe, your mare can be monitored and supervised by our team of experienced veterinarians from the age of three.
