For the collection of semen from a stallion we use a breeding phantom. With more than 25 years of experience with stallions from all over the world, we teach young and inexperienced stallions how to mount correctly and safely.
At Hof Ter Leeuwe, we have a specially equipped deck area with a non-slip floor. This way, the collection is done in a safe way. If necessary, there are always several teasing mares available to stimulate your stallion.
Our company has a national and European license for collecting and freezing semen. Depending on the sanitary test protocol chosen by the stallion owner, the semen can be used national or exported international.
Before our veterinarians perform any procedures on your horse, you must have read and signed the health declaration and framework agreement below for approval.
